"Ride to Remember" Goal

The Mike Stokely Foundation, Inc.'s goal is to honor each of the fallen 25 soldiers from Georgia's National Guard 48th Brigade. We plan to do five a scholarships a year.

Thank you for our first successful "Ride to Remember." The thunderous roar of 215 motorcycles, 40 plus cars, one tractor-trailer minus the trailer, led by a HUMVEE with patriotic color scheme leading the way and with air support from a Blackhawk helicopter was truly a sight to see. We hope to make each year's ride just as memorable. In doing so, we will Remember with Honor, a life well lived, well loved, and dearly missed - SGT Mike Stokely, KIA 16 AUG 05 near Yusufiyah in the Triangle of Death, south of Baghdad.

The Mike Stokely Foundation, Inc. will continue to raise funds until next year's ride. The balance will go towards next year's ride honorees.
